Collecting Grape Prunings

26th August, 2012

It ‘s  the end of August and we head up to Neudorf Vineyards Rosedale Block to collect grape pruning’s to fashion into xmas wreaths and vine wrapped xmas trees. Theres something strangely theraputic about standing in the middle of the vineyard with snow on the mountains and a fresh breeze coming down the valley. I relish this time of the year to breathe in the fresh air and take stock of life and the creative juices start to flow thinking about new products and new sculpture.

Nelson Art Expo a Success

7th August, 2012

The Trafalgar Centre was a buzz with more than 3500 people thru the doors to view our works.

Its always great having goals to work toward and I was very pleased to display over 8 pieces of sculpture for the Expo weekend.

It was a real cross section of my garden sculpture , smaller bonzes and some wooden products too.

Thanks to all who came down and made it such a hugely worth while experience for all and special thanks to Nic Foster, Lousie Allan and Annie Leather who put so much time and energy into making it a “must see” on the Nelson Events Calendar.

Check out  website for new updated images of pieces for sale.
