Grapevine pruning inspires World Cup sculpture

Upper Moutere artist Michael MacMillan undertook an ambitious sculpture project called Collaboration, using hundreds of wine bottles wrapped around vines and a wine barrel, representing “the cycle of the wine”.

The sculptures will be on display at Richmond Plains until the end of October when the Rugby World Cup finishes.
