Michael MacMillan Sculptor

Spring Opening 2025

Spring has most definitely sprung and it’s that time when we throw open the doors again. Michael and I Can’t wait to welcome you all back for summer 25/26. We have loads of lovely french oak goodies Michael has handmade with the retired old barriques from our neighbours Neudorf Vineyards, plus lost of French Country goodies too. Soon Michael will also be adding some smaller mantle size sculpture so look forward to seeing these in the next few months too! This summer we will feature a new clay artist in the gallery, a big welcome to local Leigh Thompson. Please pop in to check out a few of her vessels that we have recently had delivered. We will continue to have a selection of Deb Fulle’r’s Art from Akaroa Christchurch, photo montage work that evokes memories of early New Zealand. As I write this note we should have Georgie Hoby Scutt popping by with some new still life for the walls and our Incredible local legend Sally Burton will feature 2-3 works as she can. Encaustic Artist Helena Morris will continue to exhibit too, she’s our neighbour and friend and her works add a delightful colourful and playful feel to the gallery space. Poppy our daughter even has a few of her water colours up! As in previous years we continue to support our local coffee Roaster sublime. Coffee, Molly Woppy treats and the garden with the majestic view to Mount Arthur! We are a small family owned business and are delighted to share our art, home and creativity with you all and we thank you for the continued support of our business. Opening Hours: THURSDAYS to SUNDAYS 10am-5pm. More hours will be added in December.
